Annual General Meeting:

IPMA-Canada is pleased to offer its Annual General Meeting on-line through Zoom for everyone to attend! The Annual General Meeting is open to members only and will provide a report for the past fiscal year ending March 31, 2023. Members can expect to see an Annual Report for the 2022/23 fiscal year, financial status update of the organization, breakdown of membership and upcoming plans, as well as the election of Directors at Large.

Election of Officers:

There are six (6) Director at Large positions available on our National Executive Committee. Please consider nominating or putting your name forward to lead IPMA- Canada and move forward our Strategy. Being a Director at Large has many benefits including earning five (5) points per year towards re-certification, leading a project and sitting on the National Executive Committee that develops key competencies that support you in the progression of your HR profession, opportunity to be mentored by and network with experienced IPMA-Canada board members and network nationally with fellow members!

Nomination for IPMA-Canada Director at Large

Each year IPMA-Canada National Executive Committee evaluates current size and participation of it’s Directors in relation to the current Strategy. We are pleased to advise our membership that we have six (6) Director at Large voluntary positions available to lead and participate in the running and oversight of the association.

If you are aware of a current member who would possibly be interested in holding a Director at Large function with IPMA-Canada please put their name forward (or your name). IPMA-Canada will then contact this individual to ascertain that they would like their name to stand during the election at the AGM.

Director at Large is an elected/appointed member who serves at the pleasure of the National Executive Committee to perform duties as assigned. The National Executive Committee will identify the terms and conditions of any assignment. Such assignments could consist of Social Media, Communications, Advertising, Webinar/Learning Development, or activities that further the current Strategy, Mission, Vision, and Values of IPMA-Canada. This fiscal year, we are looking specifically for individuals interested in being a lead for their province/territory on a post-secondary recruitment membership campaign, making connections with post-secondary institutions, and possibly mentoring a student on a specific IPMA-Canada project.

Being a Director at Large with IPMA-Canada has many rewards and benefits. Five (5) points per year are earned towards re-certification, leading a project and sitting on the National Executive Committee develops key competencies that support you in the progression of your HR profession, opportunity to be mentored by and network with experienced IPMA-Canada board members and network nationally with fellow members.
